Weird Lawsuit of the Day: Sweet Brown Sues Apple Inc.

Kimberly Wilkins, better known as Sweet Brown, is suing Apple for unauthorized use of her likeness after a song using samples from her April 2012 local news interview was sold on iTunes. Produced by the staff of the Seattle-based radio show The Bob Rivers Show, the mashup song in question (shown above) was originally put up for sale without her express consent on April 10th, 2012.
